Hello! My name is Priya Patel and I am a UX designer based in Sacramento, CA. I aspire to make lives easier by creating efficient and beautiful designs for everyone using my background in marketing & customer experience.
While I was studying Managerial Economics at the University of California, Davis, I really didn’t know where my passions lied. I worked in customer experience and aspired to start a career in marketing. It allowed me to be creative and problem solve but something didn’t fit. It wasn’t until I found UX that everything really made sense.
I wanted to be able to create things that would benefit others, and that is exactly what I love about this industry. Everything we do is human centered. We create. We problem solve. We use critical thinking. All to make people’s lives easier and more fulfilled, and I can’t wait to keep doing this.

Outside of design, my passions lie in taking care of my plants and pets, as well as constantly learning new crafts. From dancing to sculpting and painting, I love learning it all.
